Gerald vanLieshout, Owner/President

 

Gerald is a properly trained  professional Home Inspector, having graduated from Humber College's Home  Inspection program, and the International Association of Certified Home  Inspectors' (InterNACHI) training to be a Certified Professional  Inspector (CPI).  He has also completed CAPHI's training to become a New Construction Inspector (NCI) giving him the skills and knowledge to work with new home buyers and the Tarion Warrany program. He takes great pride in his work and the services he offers  to all his clients. 


He also has over a decade of experience in home repair  and renovations, is able to help you maintain your home, fix up one you're getting ready to sell, or help repair a new home you just purchased. 


He is a member in good standing of several  professional associations (the  International Association of Certified  Home Inspectors, the Canadian Association of Home and Property  Inspectors, the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors, and the Association of Certified Handyman Professionals), and as such  is held to strict standards of practice, including a commitment to  ongoing training and education each and every year.


Gerald  continues to expand his knowledge of the inspection and handyman industry by  participating in additional courses and training, over and above his  membership requirements, whenever the opportunities present themselves.  His goal is to provide his clients with the most up-to-date reporting,  knowledge and skills he would expect from someone inspecting or repairing his own  home.

Lynn vanLieshout, Business Manager

Our staff member, Lynn, has been involved in  administrative and office management for over 30 years.  She spent over 10 years in the construction industry working with a General Contractor, and then a Basement Waterproofing company where she managed all aspects of  the front office. She also spent some time in Health Care and worked in  accounts receivable/payable in the food service industry.


She  then worked in the Adult Literacy field for over 13 years.  Eight of  those years were spent as an Executive Director  with  responsibility for the overall management of the centre,  including all financial management; human resources; volunteer  recruitment; marketing, curriculum development and funder relations.  


She  now works in the college system where she has taken on the  administrative management of pre-apprenticeship programs, the college's  community partnership fund, sits as a committee member in regards to bursary  approvals and chairs a committee in relation to pre-apprenticeship and  training programs throughout the GTA.


Lynn  looks forward to working with you to coordinate your inspection or handyman job, ensuring you get the best service we can offer.
